Land claims and homes
Land claims
Section titled “Land claims”Claims protect your builds and chests in Survival (its Overworld, Nether and End). Nobody else can build, break or open containers in your claim unless you trust them. Claims can’t be made in the lobby or the Mining world.
Making a claim
Section titled “Making a claim”- Your first chest: placing your first chest in Survival claims the area around it automatically.
- Golden shovel: hold it and right-click two opposite corners. A claim must be at least 5 blocks wide and 100 blocks in area.
- Claims reach from the sky down to a little below your lowest build.
- A stick shows claims: right-click with it to see who owns the land.
/expandclaim <n>grows the claim you’re standing in by n blocks in the direction you’re facing.
After you create or resize a claim you’re told how many claim blocks you have left.
Claim blocks
Section titled “Claim blocks”Each block of claimed area costs one claim block.
- You start with 100.
- You earn 100 more per hour of play, up to 80,000.
- Buy more from Orin (station services): 250 blocks for 200 Stardust, up to 10,000 bought in total.
/claimslist shows your claims and claim blocks.

Giving up a claim
Section titled “Giving up a claim”/abandonclaim gives up the claim you’re standing in; you get its claim blocks back.
Inactive claims
Section titled “Inactive claims”If you stop playing:
- an automatic claim from your first chest is removed after 7 days;
- a claim with nothing built in it is removed after 14 days;
- all your claims expire after 60 days, unless you have 10,000+ claim blocks or 5,000+ bought blocks.
/sethome [name]sets a home (also/set home). Only inside a claim you own or are trusted in.- Sleeping in a bed inside your claim also makes it your home, if you don’t have one yet.
/home [name]takes you there;/homeslists your homes and slots;/delhome [name]removes one.- Everyone has 1 home slot. Buy more from Orin:
