Trading with players

All player trading needs 2 hours of active play first.

  1. /trade <player> sends a request. It expires after 60 seconds.
  2. The other player types /trade accept (or /trade accept <name> if several people asked). Bedrock players get a button.
  3. Each of you puts items on your side of the trade screen and sees the other’s offer.
  4. Both press Ready. The swap happens 3 seconds later.
  • Any change to either offer un-readies both players, so nobody can swap an item at the last second.
  • Closing the screen, logging out, changing worlds or dying cancels the trade and gives everyone their own items back.
  • Not in the Rift Spire, the boss arena or during a duel.

Sell items from a chest in Survival, even while you’re offline.

  1. Put the items in a chest or barrel inside your own claim.
  2. Place a sign on (or above) it:
    • line 1: [Shop]
    • line 2: how many per sale
    • line 3: the price in Stardust
  3. The shop sells the first item in the container.

Customers right-click the sign twice to buy. You’re paid even when you’re offline, minus a 5% fee. Your claim keeps everyone else out of the chest. You can have up to 20 shops.

/shops lists every shop; /shops <item or owner> searches them.

The bounty board is the lectern near spawn in the lobby, or /bounty anywhere.

  • Post a bounty: ask for a stack of plain items and offer a Stardust reward. The reward is held when you post, plus a 5% fee. You can have 5 open at once.
  • Fill someone’s bounty from the board with matching plain items (no names, enchantments, damage or contents). You’re paid at once.
  • Collect the items you asked for with /bounty collect. /bounty mine lists yours.
  • Bounties expire after 7 days and the reward is refunded.

/pay <player> <amount> sends Stardust directly.
